A Rookwood standard glaze pottery vase, pattern 562, twelve-flame mark, incised W indicating mark clay and illegible artists initials (possibly Sara Sax?, initials glazed over), decorated in rose and leaf. 9.25″ high, 3.75″ diameter. Circa 1890’s. No chips or cracks noted. Repair on rim seen only with bright light and magnifying. Minor glaze crazing.
