To registered bidders in our December 4, 2023, coin auction:

Thank you for registering for the Dellinger Estate Coin Collection Online Only auction, which is opening for “live” online bidding at 6pm. PLEASE read the following synopsis of process and terms, prior to bidding this evening. If you are unable to comply with payment and pickup requirements, please contact us to delete your registration.

BIDDING

Any bids left prior to today’s live, online auction at 6pm, will be executed on your behalf. Also, the auction will be broadcast simultaneously on bidwickliff.com and bidwickliff.hibid.com. The auction will be manually clerked, not automated, to accommodate bidding on both platforms. You MAY get outbid during the live auction, so bids currently winning at 6pm MAY OR MAY NOT mean that you have won the item.

**Registered bidders can log on at 6pm and bid live, if desired.

TAXES

The state of Indiana now requires tax on any coin(s) that are not US Legal Tender, or .999 pure. All foreign coinage is taxable, regardless of silver/gold content. If you are tax exempt please email your Registered Retail Merchant Certificate AND a signed ST-105 form. Both are required to be tax exempt.

PAYMENT, LOCAL PICKUP

We will send invoices shortly after the auction (shipping costs added later, see below). Payment details will be included in the message.

***ONLY BIDDERS HAVING AN ESTABLISHED HISTORY WITH WICKLIFF AUCTIONEERS MAY PAY USING A CREDIT CARD. Payment types accepted from new bidders include cash, wire transfer, Zelle or paper check (checks will require up to a 10-day hold before release of items).

Payment is due within 5 business days of auction. Winning bidders may also pay by cash or check (checks require items hold until funds clear) at our office BY APPOINTMENT between 11am and 4pm on Tuesday, December 5. Appointment scheduling link for pickup will be sent to winning bidders with your invoice. Please bring boxes and packing material, if needed. If you are unable to pick up on Friday, just email info@bidwickliff.com to set a pickup appointment. All items must be removed within 10 days, or will be considered abandoned, and no refunds are provided.

SHIPPING

Wickliff Auctioneers will be conducting in-house shipping, EXCEPT for those items in the catalogue that are exempted, and state ‘third party shipping’ required. We will calculate shipping invoices on Friday for out-of-state bidders, and amend your invoice. We will send a new invoice with shipping, and buyers can pay for purchases and shipping at one time. For bidders who paid for purchases prior to shipping costs added, we will send a separate invoice for shipping.

*Note- we use FedEx and UPS primarily, signature required, fully insured, for coins and jewelry. Too many problems with USPS in the past. So, large lots of heavy coins will be expensive. You can visit the UPS site to get an estimate for shipping, prior to bidding. Our sending zip code is 46032.
