Following the final game, the contest commissioner (Darin) amended the prize award to include the second place finisher, “Zoy’s Automatic Bracket” with a $250 donation. The $500 first prize award to Olivia, with her “Nova” bracket, resulted from her selection as Villanova as the champion. Although she had fewer correct picks than Zoy, Olivia vaulted to the top as the only participant choosing Villanova.

“We really enjoy this contest, and hope that it provides some excitement and fun for participating charities,” said Darin Lawson, President, Wickliff Auctioneers. “It’s a no-strings-attached contest that is consistent with our “Give Initiative”, in making donations each month to worthwhile 501c(3) charitable organizations.”

Wickliff Auctioneers selects a charity each month to receive a portion of their house proceeds from their monthly, catalogued auctions. The Final Four for Charity contest offers a donation to any organization based in Indiana, with legal charitable status, that seeks to educate, serve and otherwise enhance the lives of children and teens.

The contest is slated to resume for 2017’s Final Four!
