Rev. Hicks 13,000 s.f. Italianate Victorian home was host to many gatherings, including many for her church family, and according to Hicks’ daughter, Beverly, she wanted the house to be “pretty”. Accordingly, the items are a mix of old and new, but are awash with color. Gold gilding covers the frames of many pieces of furniture (which Rev. Hicks completed herself), and many of the decorative accessories are bright and colorful.
